Al-Shara discusses ME developments with Papandreau

Syria's Foreign Minister Farouk al-Shara and his Greek counterpart, George Papandreou discussed during a phone call yesterday latest developments in the region. Al-Shara stressed the important role of the International Quartet Committee in realization just and comprehensive peace based on Madrid reference, the principle of land for peace, the United Nations' resolutions and Arab initiative approved by the Arab Summit in Beirut.
