Omran confers with Lebanese counterpart

Syria's Information Minister Adnan Omran received in Damascus Lebanese Counterpart Michel Samaha.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the distinguished relations between the two states and ways of developing and activating these relations in various fields especially in the media field.
Talks focused on the coming Arab information ministers' meeting in Cairo.
In a statement to SANA, the two ministers stressed the importance of cooperation and coordination between the two states in various fields pointing out that the two states are working for a comprehensive Arab stance and calling for the Israeli withdrawal from all the occupied Arab territories.
They stressed the importance of Arab media in boosting stances and stressing Arab legal rights including the Palestinian right of self determination and of establishing their state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The two sides underlined the importance of mutual coordination in the face of challenges.
