Mubarak maintains balance between political, economic reform and social justice

Mamdouh el-Beltagui , Secretary of Information at Egypt's National Democratic Party (NDP) and minister of Tourism said that President Hosni Mubarak could maintain balance between the political and economic reform and social justice for pushing up democracy drive, which the President started in 1981 by releasing all the political detainees.
Beltagui also noted that President Mubarak has launched a proper initiative by establishing the National Council for Human Rights and approving NDP initiatives through the cancellation of state security courts as well as enhancing the women participation in the society through the National Council for Women. Beltagui asserted the importance of citizens's pride in their national identity.
