Egyptian worker attacks American soldier in the head
Egypt-USA, Politics, 6/19/2003

News reports in Cairo said yesterday that one of the American Marine soldier working in the American embassy in Cairo was exposed to an attack by an Egyptian citizen and the soldier was admitted to hospital in a very grave situation.

Sources in Cairo said that the soldier was working in one of the utilities of the American embassy in al-Ma'adi district, southern Cairo, when he was hit after an Egyptian worker attacked him with an iron instrument.

Such and many other similar events took place following a wave of great anger and great demonstrations that overwhelmed the Egyptian cities in protest of the American war against Iraq, and Washington's bias position to Israel at the expense of the Palestinian rights.
