Syrian president decree to found a national center for energy researches

Syria's President Bashar Assad issued yesterday Law number 8 for the year 2003 which decrees establishing a scientific General Institution named the National Center for Energy Research.
Its Center is in Damascus and it is allowed to establish branches connected to the main center inside the country by a decision from the Electricity Minister. The National Center for Energy Research has a considerable and independent administrative and financial body and it is connected to the Electricity Ministry.
