Gulf states calls for the foundation of a central Iraqi national government

The foreign minister of the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC member states called for establishing quickly a central Iraqi national unity government in Iraq in order to enable the Iraqi people running its country's affairs.
A statement issued in conclusion of the GCC meeting on Monday said that the council reviewed developments of the Middle East peace process and called on Israel to stop practicing its policy of assassination, violence and destruction of Palestinian houses. They also denounced the recent terrorist attacks in the Arab states.
