Ashrawy meets Moussa, Al Baz

Hanan Ashrawy, member of the Palestinian Legislative Council expressed her appreciation of Egypt's efforts by President Hosni Mubarak and the endeavors taken to unite the Palestinian factions and prevent divisions among them as Israel wishes.

She pointed out the critical conditions in the occupied territories and the necessity for unity among the Palestinian people to face this military inhuman escalation practiced by Israeli forces especially in Gaza Strip.

She added that Israel is still resolute on the assassination policy and non-commitment to the roadmap.

About the American role for implementing the roadmap by pressing on both Israeli and Palestinian sides, she said that the U.S. is pressurizing only the Palestinian side rather than the Israeli one.

She stressed the need for a positive American interference. At the same time, she pointed out the existence of an American move but only on the security level.

Ashrawy said, she will meet AL Chief Amr Moussa, and Osama Al Baz, President Mubarak's Political Advisor.
