Washington's African arts museum showcases fabric of moroccan life

Morocco's ambassador to the US, Aziz Mekouar, dedicated here Wednesday an exhibition titled "The Fabric of Moroccan Life" in Washington's Museum of Moroccan Arts.
This exhibition is the first of its kind held at the National Museum of African Art to focus exclusively on the tradition of beautiful embroideries, textiles and jewelry from the Kingdom. The Fabric of Moroccan Life presents some of the finest and most important weavings in existence. The 67 objects on display include rugs, textiles and jewelry.
