Russian envoy confers with Maher

Russian Envoy, Andre Vidovin warned in Cairo yesterday against the dangerous repercussions of the deteriorated situations in the Palestinian territories and on the security and stability in the Middle East.
Following meeting with Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher, Vidovin stressed the necessity for carrying out the roadmap in a balanced manner between the Palestinian and the Israeli sides.
The Russian envoy pointed out that his country is in continuous contact with all sides and through the Quartet committee to ensure the implementation of the Roadmap in a correct way.
