ALECSO thanks Mrs. Mubarak for supporting Arab reading for all project

The Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization lauded Friday the of support Egypt's First Lady, Suzanne Mubarak, for an "Arab Reading for All" project.

In statements to MENA correspondent in Paris, ALECSO Director-General Al-Monji Busneineh described as a good and important step Mrs. Mubarak's invitation to the Arab project's board of trustees to meet in Cairo in the coming sage.

"Mrs. Mubarak agreed to preside over the Arab project to get advantage of her pioneering experience in the field of reading in Egypt," said Busneineh.

Nasser Al-Ansari, Director-General of the Institute Du Monde Arabe, said the success of Mrs. Mubarak's experiment in Egypt has encouraged the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to seek her assistance.
