Syrian lecture on protecting environment from pollution

Director General of the Arab encyclopedia board has stressed that the environment protection from pollution is a necessary need for its effects on the society and individual health.
In a lecture in Damascus on Thursday entitled "the environment and health," Haffar offered several facts about problems of environment, education, administration, planning, policies, strategies and types of human foods which effect negatively or positively on societies and individuals health.
He reviewed the dangerous results of water, air and food pollution, invisible and visible effects of industrial chemical materials and the necessity of selecting suitable locations for industrial institutions.
