Mrs. Mubarak arrives in Paris for 'reading for all' in the Arab states

Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak arrived in Paris Wednesday on a visit to France, where she will inaugurate a children's drawing books fair in the Arab world at the Arab world Institute in Paris.

She is due to give a lecture at the Institute on the Egyptian experiment in encouraging reading in Egypt and in the Arab world.

Mrs. Mubarak will head the first meeting of the Arab project for reading for all, under her sponsorship in cooperation between the Arab world Institute and the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization (ALECSO).

The meeting is due to declare the first project of the reading for all in the Arab states and the publishing of the Arab Family Library under Mrs. Mubarak's sponsorship.

Meanwhile, French Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Renaud Muselier in statement to Middle East News Agency praised Mrs. Mubarak's role in upgrading children's education and efforts to encourage children to read, which is the key for the development of nations.
