EU condemns Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip

The European Union Presidency condemned in a statement Wednesday the Israeli missile attack on Gaza Strip on Tuesday, which left five Palestinians dead and several others injured. It said such attacks "torpedo" the internationally-brokered "road map" for Middle East peace and complicate the task undertaken by Palestinian Premier Mahmoud Abbas.
The statement said such reprisal attacks and indiscriminate killing feed the spiralling cycle of violence.
