Morocco extends donation to Mauritanian government

Morocco extended a donation to Mauritania as a sign of solidarity after the events that took place in the Mauritanian capital last weekend. The donation, consisting in funds and medical equipment, was shipped by a Moroccan plane which landed in Noukchott Wednesday.
King Mohammed VI had held phone talks with president Maaouya Ould Sid'Ahmed Taya of Mauritania to voice his solidarity and support, the Mauritanian national radio reported Monday.
