Al-Nahar: Russia for a comprehensive solution to ME issues

Russia's ambassador to Lebanon stressed that his country has called for finding a comprehensive solution for the Middle East issues and called for resuming negotiation on Syrian and Lebanese tracks. In an interview published yesterday in the Lebanese al-Nahar newspaper, Moscow called Israeli foreign minister Shalom Silvan to resume negotiation on the Syrian and Lebanese tracks.
In the same context, Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov called also the International Quartet Committee to exert efforts to carry out the Roadmap on these two tracks.
