Some 45 American soldiers killed in Iraqi attacks post war

The number of American soldiers who were killed since the beginning of the war against Iraq, according to a new numbers circulated by the US defense department reached 183 killing until the 10th of June including 45 killed after the end of the main military operations on May 1st, as a result of attacks carried out by Iraqis, according to the ministry.

On the other hand, the central American leadership announced yesterday that a body of an Iraqi detained by the American forces in al-Nasereyah to the south of Iraq was found, adding that the Iraqi detainee who was jailed since May 3rd was found dead on June 6th during his detention and an investigation was opened to find the reasons behind his death.

Meantime, the Iraqi Kurdistani democratic party strongly protested the American soldiers breaking into one of its centers in Baghdad and described this act as oppressive.

The spokesman for the party said "we were surprised that the American forces have broken into one of the party centers in Baghdad. The center was opened in an agreement with these forces following a security meeting between American and representatives for the party."
