Khatami: relations between Syria and Iran are strong, strategic

Iranian President Mohammed Khatami has praised the standing relations between Syria and Iran and described them as strong and strategic.
During handing the credentials of the new Syria Ambassador to Tehran, Hamed Hasan, yesterday in Tehran Khatami praised Syria's firm stances under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad in defending the Arab and Islamic nations' rights.
