Saudi official: no link found to date between Riyadh and Casablanca attacks
Saudi Arabia-Morocco, Politics, 6/10/2003
Saudi interior minister, Prince Nayef Bin Abdel Aziz, said no link has been established for the time being between the Riyadh and Casablanca terrorist attacks.
The official told the Saudi press his country's security departments have not received any evidence from the Moroccan authorities that the two terrorist attacks are linked. In a previous statement, the official had said he does not rule out that the attacks in the two Arab countries were planned by the same side.
After he termed as "very good" cooperation between the two countries' security departments, Prince Nayef said it is too early to make conclusions at a time investigators are carrying on their probe.
The official further confirmed the involvement of Al-Qa'da in the Riyadh attacks and that 25 persons were arrested and 10 others are being hunted for in connection with the attacks that targeted his country.
