The Jordanian minister of energy and mineral resources Muhammad al-Bateynah Has announced that Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates UAE have agreed to extend work to provide Jordan with oil for a period of another three months within easy financial arrangements following the cutting of Iraqi oil supplies to Jordan because of the war.

Sources at the Jordanian ministry of energy said that work to provide Jordan with oil from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE will start as from June 20. Saudi Arabia used to provide Jordan with 50,000 barrels of oil daily and Kuwait and the UAE of 50,000 barrels daily also.
