Al-Rai al- Am: Kuwait renews rejection to normalize relations with Israel
Kuwait-Israel, Politics, 6/9/2003

Kuwait's minister of information Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has renewed his country's rejection to maintain any normalization of relations with Israel. He said that Kuwait's position is clear to that it will not normalize relations with Israel except after Israel's withdrawal from all occupied Arab territories.

In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al- Am issued yesterday, al- Sabah said that Kuwait welcomes any effort aiming at the foundation of an independent Palestinian state. He stressed the need of implementing what was agreed upon in the recent al-Aqaba meeting. The Kuwaiti minister explained that his country sees the Arab initiative approved by the Beirut summit as representing the comprehensive solution needed to end the Arab- Israeli conflict.
