Syrian- Kuwaiti relations are strong, historical

Speaker of the Syrian People's Assembly, Naji Otari has described the Syrian-Kuwaiti relations as strong and historical.

In a remark published by Kuwaiti a Anbaa news paper yesterday, he stressed that Syria has been supporting the Arab nation's interests and has been working to achieve just and comprehensive peace based on international resolutions and Madrid reference.

He also pointed out that Israel is responsible for hindering the peace process in the region through rejecting to implement the international resolutions and to withdraw from the occupied Arab territories.

Concerning the Roadmap, he underlined that Syria announced its clear stance represented by complete support to the Palestinian people and their rights, asserting that just and comprehensive peace is the required one.
