Al-Shara meets with the European parliamentary delegation

Syria's Foreign Minister, Farouk Al-Shara, received in Damascus yesterday the European Parliament Delegation headed by Sami Naer.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest international and regional developments as well as the role of the European Union in establishing a multi-polar world capable of dealing effectively with issues of the region.
Naaer has stressed that his talks with al-Shara were successful and focused on the Syrian-European relations, the situation in the region and with what happened in Iraq.
They also talked about the relations between the European Union and Syria where the two sides expressed their hope to sign a partnership agreement.
Al-Shara' also received yesterday the deputy chairman of the Foreign relation committee in French-national Association Francois Deloncle and an accompanying delegation.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the latest developments in the region particularly in Iraq and the occupied territories as well as the role that Europe and France they can play towards regional issues.
