19 people involved in Casablanca attacks appear before court

A new group of 19 persons involved in the May 16 attacks in Casablanca appeared Thursday before the court of appeal of Casablanca.
Public prosecutor, Abdallah Alaoui Belghiti, told the press the suspects face charges of setting up a criminal group, complicity in undermining State internal security, complicity in premeditated murder and murder attempt, participation in acts that caused damages and permanent disablement, aggravated theft, and wounds and blows with knife.
Other persons involved in the May 16 attacks, he added, were arrested and they are currently questioned by the police before they appear before the court.
