Syria stress active measures to promote children's rights

Syria's Minister of Social Affairs and Labor, Ghada Al-Jabi, has stressed that Syria was within that countries who approved on a Child Rights Convention

In a speech she delivered in Geneva on Friday during a meeting of a Child Rights International Committee, al-Jabi said that Syria is working on both official and popular levels and by all available capabilities to promote the service situation presented to a child in Syria.

Al-Jabi reviewed achievements which were achieved in 1995 through 2002 in fields of children protection, insurance of the needed health care to children, spreading and improving children education and teaching.
