Al-Nahar: Syrian- French cultural relations development

Chairman of the Friendship Associations in the French Senate, Philip Marini described developments of the French Syrian cooperation as an ideal one in the human and cultural fields.

In an interview issued yesterday by the Lebanese newspaper, Al-Nahar, Marinin clarified that his country offers to Syria its expertise in field of administrative reform and this is evidence on the extraordinary trust exchanged between Syria and France.

Marini, who recently visited Damascus, stressed that Syria possesses all elements to succeed through rehabilitation quality, geographic position as well commercial and industrial tradition.

"The French-Syrian joint efforts in fields of knowledge, showing archaeological and historical heritage in Syria, and activities of the French Cultural Centers gained a great political supported during the last months," Marini stressed.
