Spain backs Morocco's bid world football cup bid

President of Spanish government, Jose Maria Aznar, said Spain backs and will "actively" support Morocco's candidacy to host the 2010 soccer football Cup, and is ready to collaborate with Moroccan authorities for win the bid.

Speaking at a joint press conference, held with Moroccan premier, who paid a visit to Spain where he met in a mountain ranch near Toledo (150 km south of Madrid) Aznar, the head of the Spanish government said Spain's royal federation of football is ready to collaborate with Moroccan authorities so that Morocco be rewarded for what "we deem a fair objective." The Moroccan premier thanked Spain, its government and its football federation for being the first to voice support to Morocco's candidacy to organize the 2010 world cup.
