Khaleifa Bin Zayed, Blair discussed conditions in the region, bilateral relations

The British prime minister Tony Blair yesterday in London discussed with Abu Dhabi crown prince Sheikh Khaleifa Bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the deputy commander of the armed forces in the UAE currently visiting Britain.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and means of developing them in various fields as well as the situation in Iraq, current developments in the Middle East especially the agreement maintained between the Palestinian authority and the Israeli government, the regional and international efforts exerted to implement the Roadmap and ending the Palestinian- Israeli conflict and approving a just and comprehensive solution, based on international resolutions and the foundation of a Palestinian state with Jerusalem as a capital.
Earlier in the day, the UAE official met with the British foreign office secretary Jack Straw and the two sides exchanged views on several current regional and international issues.
