Algeria: some 20 killed, including 8 military men in attacks by extremists

Algerian official mass media said yesterday that "rebellious Islamists" killed 12 persons and wounded other two near Bumdeifa in Dafl province to the west of the capital so that number of civilians who were killed during the 10 past days tolled more than 30.

The Algerian official news agency quoted security forces that the killed persons were assassinated at the hands of a terrorist group on Tuesday evening.

The Algerian security forces also announced the killing of at least 8 policemen and wounding another in an ambush implanted in Bani Dawali near Teizi Ozo ( 110 Km to the east of Algiers) in the Greater Qabael area.
