Syria's economy minister for founding the Arab development Fund

SyriaÕs Minister of Economy and Foreign Trade Ghassan Rifaee arrived yesterday in Cairo to take part in the 77th session of Arab Economic Unity Council which began yesterday at Arab League's headquarter.
Upon his arrival, he stressed the necessity of unifying all Arab efforts in the commercial and economic fields to achieve the higher Arab interests.
He commended the Egyptian suggestion be presented to the council in respect to establishing an Arab fund for development and investment.
He added that Syria supports all the means of reactivating the joint Arab action in the commercial and economic fields and the necessity of increasing the commercial exchange between Syria and Egypt, calling on the private and public sectors in two states to support trade exchange to achieve integration.
The participants discussed yesterday ways of supporting the joint Arab market within the framework of Arab Economic Unity Agreement.
