Israeli warplanes violate Lebanese airspace, retaliated by Hizbullah fire

The Lebanese police said yesterday that Israeli jets violated the Lebanese airspace from the south to the north, The Lebanese Hizbullah party targeted the Israeli fighters which flew over south Lebanon with its anti warplanes means.

The police explained the Israeli jets flew over south Lebanon until Tripoli, the greater city of northern Lebanon.

In a statement, the Hizbullah party said that the air defense unit, its military wing, intercepted the Israeli enemy warplanes which violated the Lebanese sovereignty over the areas of the eastern sector in south lebanon, and forced them to escape.

The Israeli warplanes continue to repeatedly violate the Lebanese airspace despite the repeated appeals addressed by the UN to Israel to halt its violations of the Lebanese airspace.
