Al-Assad gets amessage on Poland's role in Iraq

Syria's Foreign Minister, Farouk al-Shara, received yesterday Poland's Foreign Minister Assistant, Bughswaph Zaleskei the special envoy of Poland's President. Talks dealt with the latest developments occurred in the region, Particularly in Iraq and the occupied territories as well as the bilateral relations between Syria and Poland.
The Special Envoy handed al-Shara a message sent to President Bashar al-Assad from Poland's President Alexander Kafashinefsky regarding the situation in Iraq. Later, the special envoy told reporters that he discussed with al-Shara the latest developments in the region and that they exchanged views about the Iraqi and Palestinian situations.
