Berri is the chairman of the Arab parliamentary Union

Heads of Arab parliamentary delegations yesterday evening held a preliminary meeting for the session of the Arab Parliamentary Union which will start today in Beirut. During this session, the speaker of the Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri was elected as the chairman of the Arab parliamentary Union. This was after Berri was nominated by heads of the attending delegations.
