Reading for all Festival, mid-June

Egypt's Supreme National Committee of the Reading- for-All Festival under the chairmanship of First Lady Suzanne Mubarak discussed the special report on Family Library and Read to Your Child" Project as well as the preparations for this year Festival of Reading for-All during mid-June.
Mrs. Mubarak will present prizes to the 50 winners of the 2002 competition of the Reading-for-All Festival at a special ceremony during the festival's 13th session, an official statement said Thursday.
The Committee decided republishing "Description d'Egypte" in 28 volumes at affordable prices and releases the "Read to Your Child' series.
A work team was set up by the committee to design a website and a page on the Internet for the festival and to coordinate with local television channels for a nationwide broadcast of the festival.
The committee announced the opening of new cultural sites and public libraries in the governorates of Port Said, New Valley and Beni Sweif.
