Moroccan, Vietnamese officials probe reinforcement of economic relations

Moroccan fisheries minister, Tayeb Rhafes probed this week with several Vietnamese officials the reinforcement of economic cooperation between the two countries, said a release of the fisheries ministry.
The Moroccan minister, participating in Africa-Vietnam international forum held in Hanoi this May 28-30, held talks with the Vietnamese ministers of foreign affairs, fisheries, trade, agriculture and rural development, and with deputy chairman of the foreign affairs committee of the Vietnamese national assembly.
Talks touched on bilateral political and economic relations and means to further reinforce them, particularly in fisheries.
The two sides underlined that it is crucial to promote trade exchanges and intensify visits between the two countries' economic operators. They also agreed to harmonize their positions concerning international conventions related to sea resources and their standpoints in international and regional organizations.
During a meeting with his Vietnamese peer, Rhafes said his department is ready to receive Vietnamese cadres for a training in Moroccan institutes specialized in maritime training, the release went on.
