Al-Hayat: Seale: urges US to recognize the rights of Palestinian, Iraqis

The British well-known Journalist and Writer Patrick Seale called yesterday the U.S. to admit the Palestinian and Iraqi people's right of living in real independent states stressing that this constitutes the most effective policy to ensure the security in the world of anger.

In an article issued by the London-based Al-Hayat newspaper, Seale warned against the repercussions of the thoughts that call for reshaping the Arab region in a way that ensures the American and Israeli security asserting that the resistance is inevitable.

Seale said "it has been crystal-clear evident that the war against Iraq has formed an unjustified flagrant illegal act to the UN Charter.

Seale pointed out that there are many reasons to presume that the U.S. will face an Iraqi resistance indicating Article No. 51 of UN charter that recognizes the right of self-defense against any foreign aggression and Article 1 of the Additional Protocol of Geneva Fourth Convention that stresses the right to resist any foreign occupation in the framework of self-determination.

Seale asserted that it is impossible to establish a stable global order on the basis of aggression according to what the US states to be a "preemptive war" principle.
