Syrian relief aid arrived in Algeria

Syrian plane loaded with aid presented as a gift from the Syrian people to Algeria arrived in Algiers on Sunday.
The State Minister for Red Crescent Affairs, Abdul Karim Sayed Youssef, and a number of Red Crescent volunteers accompanied the plane.
In a statement to SANA' s correspondent in Algiers, the State Minister expressed sorrow over what happened in Algeria stressing that it is not an Algerian catastrophe but a humanitarian one.
He also added that the aid, which amounts to 40 tons of medicine, foodstuff, tents and blankets, is the first one and there are others to arrive in Algeria soon.
