Jordanian king stress right of Palestinians to an independent state

King Abdullah II of Jordan has stressed Jordan's stand in support of the Palestinian people in order to found their independent state.
In a speech he delivered yesterday on the occasion of Jordan's 57th foundation anniversary, the King stressed that his country will also work within its confines in order to maintain the unity and sovereignty of the Iraqi territories. He stressed the right of the Iraqi people to choose their leaders and return back to its Arab environment.
The King also spoke of the democratic process in Jordan through boosting political and party life and revitalization of the civil society establishments. He urged the Jordanians to take part in the parliamentary elections which will be held on June 17th.
