Morocco decided to sent an urgent humanitarian aid and technical assistance to support the Algerian earthquake-stricken populations, upon instructions of King Mohammed VI's.

The aid consists of a 45-men civil rescue squad endowed with two clearing vehicles, two recovery trucks, a crane, sheltering material comprising 15,000 blankets and 1,000 tents. The urgent aid was conveyed both by air and land.

King Mohammed VI gave his instructions to Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity and the health ministry in order to send foodstuff and medicines to the earthquake-stricken Algerians.
