Somalia 30 persons were killed in inter- militia clashes

News reports talks about clashes between warring militias in the central and southern areas of Somalia that resulted in killing 30 persons and wounding other 40.
Marihan tribe, the tribe of the former Somali dictator Muhammad Seyad Berri took part in the fighting. The reports said that violent fighting took place between the militia men that resulted in killing 11 persons and wounding other 20 persons in Kesmayo.
More than 200 men of Marihan tribe equipped with mortars attacked Jaljil Tribe men. An official in the militias said the incident was a revenge for the killing of Sheikh Mayer Ibrahim, one of the chiefs of Marihan tribe last week after men of Jaljil tribe ambushed a UN team group he was escorting.
Witnesses said that another clash took place in the downtown of Somalia in which Marihan tribe took place and killed 20 persons and wounding other 15 militia men.
