Al-Thawra: Syria cancels military training in schools

The Syrian official daily al-Thawra said that Syria decided to replace the military training subject in the curricula at the preparatory and secondary schools with courses in Computer and technology.
The paper said that the military training which has been applied since 30 years will stop as from September this year and will be replaced by irregular activities supervised by the Revolution's Youth Union. The paper quoted an official at the ministry of education that military training at the secondary schools will be replaced by Summer camps lasting for 15 days.
