Powell meets Sudanese counterpart

The US Secretary of State Colin Powell met yesterday in Washington with his Sudanese counterpart Mustafa Othman Ismael and discussed with him means though which Sudan's name will be removed from the terrorism sponsors states list prepared by the US Department Of State .
The spokesman for the Department, Richard Boucher said that Powell reviewed with Ismael certain steps that Sudan has to take to have its name removed from the terrorism list. Boucher said that Powell told Ismael the US wants to see Sudan execute this step to remove Sudan from this list.
