Jibril: resistance escalate despite offices closure
Palestine-Syria, Politics, 5/21/2003

The secretary general of the People's Front For the Liberation of Palestine Ð General Command - Ahmad Jibril said that despite the closure of the Palestinian organizations in Damascus, resistance operations have been escalated remarkably in the Palestinians areas.

Jibril added that this is an "evidence and a clear message to Israel and the USA that the Palestinian people do not get instructions from Damascus and that resistance has become a popular phenomenon."

Jibril added "I do not think that this ( Palestinian) people who during the past 24 hours carried several operations had received instructions from Damascus or Beirut or from anywhere else É resistance has become a popular phenomenon." In a statement to press, Jibril said that "the Palestinian question is much larger than a group of offices opened here or there," noting that "rather, the question is that a crime was committed against the Palestinian people since 50 years and 4 million Palestinians are in Diaspora."

He added that "resistance and confrontation with the Israeli enemy will not be halted." he said that the Palestinian resistance offices have become in every house and camp in Syria, Lebanon and the Diaspora."
