European ministers statement

European Union Foreign Ministers stressed in Brussels on Monday that the EU will continue exerting efforts to achieve the just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East including Syria and Lebanon in the interest of the region and the world.

In a statement the ministers underlined the importance of forcing Israel to commit itself to carry out the Roadmap as soon as possible expressing concern over the continued Israeli settlement policy and the increase of the Palestinian civilians victims. They also called on Israel to comply to the international resolutions.
