King Mohammed visits sites hit by terrorist attacks

Morocco's King Mohammed VI, accompanied by his brother Prince Moulay Rachid, visited Sunday sites hit Friday night by a string of terrorist attacks, claiming 41 lives and leaving one hundred people wounded.
King Mohammed VI inquired about the damage caused in different sites by these terrorist bombings in the Farah Hotel.
The King also visited the Spanish club "Casa de Espana," where the terrorist attacks claimed the greatest death toll.
At the club's entrance, the sovereign was greeted by Spain's ambassador to Morocco, the Spanish General Consul in Casablanca, the President of the Spanish Chamber of commerce and the director of Casa de Espana.
King Mohammed VI later paid a visit to the headquarters of the Jewish Circle, where he was greeted by the President of the Jewish Community in Morocco, Serge Berdugo.
The terrorist attacks also targeted a Jewish cemetery and a restaurant close to Belgium's consulate in Casablanca.
Among the 100 wounded people 55 left the hospital, 14 are in critical state and 31 are still under treatment.
King Mohammed, who is closely following the repercussions of these criminal acts, decided to bear medical fares of the wounded people.
The sovereign gave instructions to guarantee the citizens' security and peace and to initiate appropriate investigations to identify people behind the bombings and hand them to justice.
