A Kuwaiti plane in Iraq for the first time since 1990

The first Kuwaiti civilian plane arrived yesterday at Baghdad's airport carrying a group of pressjournalists, doctors and members of the search committee for missing prisoners as well as amounts of Kuwaiti relief items. This is however, the first Kuwaiti plane to land at Baghdad's airport since August 1st, 1990. The second day, August 2nd, 1990 that Iraq invasion of Kuwait took place.

The Captain of the plane Adel al-Mutawe' said "it was an unordinary flight. There is no navigation and the military atmosphere is still prevailing since the end of the war in Iraq in April." he added that the plane landed with the help of an American radar.
