Aleppo governor meets with Turkish delegation

Aleppo Governor, Osama Adi, received on Saturday a delegation of Turkish University of Gaziantep chaired by Hussein Filiz, Chairman of the University
Adi appreciated the historical relations between peoples of the two neighboring countries and expressed desire to develop these relations.
For his part, Filiz expressed admiration over civilization and scientific developments in Aleppo and expressed desire to develop and boost the friendship ties and cooperation between Syria and Turkey including exchange of visits and delegations.
The Turkish delegation also met with Aleppo University Rector, Mohammad Sa'id Farhoud and with Chairman of Aleppo Branch of the Ba'ath Arab Socialist Party, Ahmad Hubo.
Both sides hailed the historical deep-rooted Syrian Turkish relations in all fields and underlined the importance of exchange student delegations and activating scientific and cultural agreements between the two universities.
Later on, the Turkish delegation visited the ancient city of Aleppo, its historical castle and markets.
