The Sudanese foreign ministry announced that the government ratified the International agreement on fighting terrorism funding approved in 1999 as well as the Treaty of the Organization of the Islamic Conference OIC on fighting terrorism for 1999 and the agreement of the African Unity Organization- the current African federation -- to prevent terrorism and fighting it for 1999 also.

Morocco's 2002-2003 grain yields to grow by 59%, ministry
The 2002-2003 cereal production is expected to stand at 8 million tons, which is a 59% rise as compares to last year, the department of agriculture and rural development said in a release Friday.

American forces arrest Iraq's ambassador to Egypt
Witnesses said that the American forces detained yesterday the Iraqi ambassador to Egypt Nabil Najm al- Takriti. He was not listed on the names of those most wanted by Washington.
