Brazil for developing relations with Syria

Speaker of Brazilian Parliament Assembly, Juan Pawlo Conia, has stressed Syria's important role in achieving peace and stability in the Middle East. Meeting with Syria's Ambassador to Brazil Shaheen Farah, he expressed Brazil's interest in the latest developments in the region and support to the UN Security Council resolutions calling for a peaceful solution to international issues particularly the Palestinian-Israeli struggle.
He also expressed the Assembly's readiness to develop political and economic relations with Syria.
