Lebanese resistance intercepts Israeli warplanes

In a statement, the Lebanese Hizbullah party said yesterday that the defense department opened fire at the Israeli warplanes which were violating the Lebanese airspace in South Lebanon.
The statement said that anti- aircraft batteries went into action against the Israeli warplanes while violating the Lebanese airspace over the western sector of the Lebanese border in the south.
However, the UN forces in South Lebanon UNIFIL repeatedly called on Israel to end its violations of the Lebanese airspace.
