First Saudi opposition TV starts transmission

The Islamic movement for reforms ( al-Islah) in Saud Arabia which takes London as a headquarters on Tuesday launched the first opposition TV after it had launched the first opposition radio in December 2002.
The spokesman for the movement Saad al-Faqih said that the TV started transmission on the Satellite "Hot Bird" for continues 24 hours, noting that the transmission will start shortly on two other satellites.
The "Sawt al-Islah" radio Broadcasts in Arabic language as from a European state on the "Hot Bird." Among its programs is direct meetings with the spokesman of the movement, various figures and cultural programs and news. The TV covers the Arab Peninsula, Europe and most of the Arab states.
